Internship, Procurement

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and further enhance procurement procedure and policies from time-to-time.
- Procure of minor raw materials (sodium sulphate, coke dust, selenium metal, iron chromite).
- Release purchase orders and monitor deliveries on day-to-day basis.
- Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
- Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best price for the company.
- Identifies and researches potential new suppliers.
- Assesses total costs of company purchases.
- Develop and implements strategies for procuring, storing and distributing. Goods or services and maintaining stick levels.
- Attend to suppliers’ enquiries on payment, checking vendors’ invoices against payment listing. Coordinate with Finance and Engineering Store for invoices matching to settle outstanding payment matter.
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by management from time to time.

**Job Requirements**:

- At least Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in in any equivalent academic background.
- Preferable Individual to be proactive, learning enthusiasm, and independent, endless drive to learn.
- Able to commit at most 6-months internship and to be based at **Perindustrian Tampoi, Johor Bahru**.
- Able to start on early September 2023.

Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: RM550.00 - RM600.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
