Mechanical Fitter

1. To ensure that the Maintenance Division is being managed effectively with maximum utilization of manpower and equipment so as to effectively maximize downtime when beginning production.

2. To be responsible for all issues of spares, fabrication of spares with objective of minimum downtime with minimum cost of right economical usage.

3. To be responsible for maintaining the preventive maintenance system as per the manual and also to keep proper records on maintenance work done.

4. To ensure that daily reports by shift production/powerhouse engineers/ supervisors are attended to and also to liaise with them on work to be done.

5. To observe and enforce all safety and security regulations and maintain good housekeeping.

6. To participate in training of employees under you.

7. To ensure all security procedures are observed at all time by the staffs.

8. To ensure the spares in the store are kept at the right level and to requisite as and when necessary.

9. To visit and inspect stations periodically so as to ensure proper supervision on maintenance work are carried out and also to plan future work.

10. To make sure important items are available in store at any one time. Eg. Welding rods of various size, oxygen, acetylene common bearings for pump etc.Keep an eye on store holding..

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
