Position: Associate Data Engineer
Primary Objective:
Ensure data pipeline SLA’s are adhered to and all failure events captured and escalated where necessary
Help to resolve failure events and work with the whole Data Integration team on resolutions
Work with business stakeholders across multiple teams to deliver support on existing data pipelines
Actively contribute to the Data Integration Strategy
Help establish best practices around Data Integration monitoring and support processes and delivery of services
Help test and Implement scalable Data Integration solutions for whole of business.

**Responsibilities**:
Development of Data Integration monitoring dashboards as required, including monitoring of core systems that orchestrate data flows from source systems into the Data Lake and out to external third parties
Work with the Data Integration Manager to provide solutions for monitoring and build accurately to project requirements
Develop and maintain documentation for pipelines, including runbooks for operational failure events
Help maintain and improve Data Integration standards and architecture to align with best practices
Collaborate with other Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Business Intelligence Developers on projects to deliver results
Ensure development work adheres to wider Domino’s architectural standards
Understand Data Compliance requirements and ensure all processes are adhering to these correctly
Appropriate time sheet logging against project work.

Works with all levels of corporate services and franchise operations in all DPE Markets (AU, NZ, FR, DE, NL, LU, DK, JP, TW).

Experience and Skills:
3+ years’ experience with T-SQL
SQL Server 2008 +
Clear and demonstrated knowledge of ETL processes
SSIS Azure Data Factory experience preferred
Experience with JavaScript preferred
Experience with Snowflake preferred
Excellent Data Analysis skills
Data Visualisation experience (Grafana, Power BI, SSRS, New Relic) preferred.
Good communication skills
Good time management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to problem solve complex problems and processes
Ability to self-learn new technologies
Passionate about new and emerging technologies
Experience or exposure with cloud-based data environments
Experience or proven understanding of GDPR preferred.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in IT (or 5+ years relevant experience).
Experience and Skills:
Good to have:
Experience with Agile methods
Experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps
Experience with Change Management Procedures
Experience with OOP languages a bonus (C#, Java).

**Language**:
Very good command of English, both written and verbal
Nice to have (one or more of):
French
German
Dutch
Japanese.
