**The role**:
As **Data Analyst** you will play an essential role in growing SCOR Digital Solutions products. You will support HealthTech business doing data processing, automation and assist solving business problems.

Reporting to **James Lynch**, Head of Product and Business Analytics, you will be responsible for the following:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the client-facing teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of client dashboards.
- Monitor data sources, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance dashboard performance.
- Collaborate with the technical team to identify opportunities for automation within the dashboard creation process. Develop scripts, workflows, or tools to streamline and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines that facilitate the movement of data from source to storage. Ensure data integrity, availability, and security throughout the pipeline.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and reliability. Address data quality issues and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights within the insurance industry data. Summarize findings through clear visualizations and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client-facing, developers, business analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to understand data requirements and support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with members of the Digital Solutions Product Analytics team to contribute to ongoing analytics projects by performing data-related tasks.
- Engage in continuous learning and development towards Data Scientist and/or Data Engineer skill set. Participate in training programs, workshops, and self-directed learning initiatives to expand your skill set.

**Technical/Essential competencies**:

- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Python, R, or similar software. Strong preference to Python users.
- A healthy knowledge of news & current affairs especially in the topic of technology, data governance, Health Tech, financial sector, insurance, and consumer behaviour.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a complex, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and their data requirements.
- Familiar with data science including knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of data privacy and security regulations and best practices, sensitive to PII and PSI data handling.

**Personal competencies/Nice to have**:

- Enthusiastic.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Chinese.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in data analysis.

**Required education/Work experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
