Radiographer

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**:

- Responsible for positioning the patient correctly and adjusting the proper exposure techniques to produce optimum x-ray images.
- The radiographer x-ray and works with healthy, sick, and disabled people in an emergency situation. So, modified imaging techniques are required.
- Able to handle C-arm machines in Operation Theatre.
- Handling phone calls and scheduled appointments for IMSC patients from appointment staff SASMEC. Also, call patients and Doctors to answer technical questions and offer pre-procedure guidance.
- Monitoring x-ray equipment, cleansing, and reporting any malfunctions. Ensuring there are sufficient supplies (films) by submitting purchasing requests proactively.
- Booking annual PPM and QC/QA for the x-rays machine.
- Do the reject film analysis monthly and report to SASMEC science officer.
- The radiographer is often on emergency call/on-call 24 hours a day.
- Carry out other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as required and instructed by management. Attend monthly IMSC meetings.
- Good attitude and communication with clique, other department staff, radiologist and surgeon.
