5g Configuration and Developer

**Job Title: 5G Configuration and Developer (3 positions)**

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Experience: 5+ years

Domain: Electronics/Communications

Monthly Salary: MYR 7500-10000, depending on experience

Mode: 1-year contract, potentially extendable

Availability: Immediate - 30 days

Interview Rounds: 1 or 2

**Job Requirements**:
At least 5 years of related working experience in the field of telecommunications, specifically in 5G configuration and troubleshooting.

PhD/Master/Bachelor Degree in Computer/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science.

Proficiency in Java, C, and C++ programming languages.

Strong background in 3GPP protocol with experience in LTE and NR protocol validation.

Familiarity with modem test equipment such as R&S and Keysight, as well as test base stations.

Ability to perform log analysis and debugging on Wireless (4G/5G) protocol stack, especially L3/L2, FAPI, MAC, RLC, and RRC.

Knowledge of 3GPP NR and EUTRAN procedures.

Good understanding of LTE and/or 5G RAN architecture.

Solid understanding of RIL, Telephony framework, IMS, and MCFG customization.

Work experience with eSIM.

Exposure to QC chipsets, LTE power control, and LTE-RF testing.

Experience with features and bug fixing related to NA carriers (AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile).

Proficient in developing on Android Core environment with a good understanding of Android core concepts.

Practical involvement in Jira, Git, and Agile software development process.

Proficiency in tools such as Wireshark, QCAT, PCAT, QXDM, and QRCT.

**Responsibilities**:
Configure and troubleshoot 5G devices and systems.

Validate LTE and NR protocols.

Conduct log analysis and debugging on Wireless protocol stacks.

Customize RIL, Telephony framework, IMS, and MCFG.

Work on eSIM integration and testing.

Perform LTE-RF testing and power control.

Collaborate with development teams on bug fixing and feature implementation.

Utilize Android Core environment for development purposes.

Participate actively in Agile software development processes, utilizing tools like Jira and Git.

Provide support for NA carrier-related features and issues.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in 5G technology.
