QAqc Supervisor

Responsible for ensuring the work scope - inspection related was completely done and in-accordance with the client specification.
- Responsible for ensuring the WCS/ WIR was signed and fulfil all hold point for inspection (Fit-up inspection, visual inspection, NDT, painting, valve inspection, reinstatement, pre-inspection, post cleaning inspection, box-up activity etc.).
- Ensure the inspections (witness, hold point, etc.) follow the ITP, WCS/ WIR and client specifications.
- To monitor the repair work, meet quality standards, no re-work and follow the procedures.
- To ensure use of correct consumables and WPS.
- To communicate with supervisors and brief the workers on how to do work before starting the work.
- Provide sufficient training and understanding on the method statement of the work had to be carried out to prevent any possibility of mistake while performing the work.
- Ensure welders are qualified to weld as per qualified materials, ranges, etc.
- Conducting/ attending/ witnessing Welding Procedure Qualification Record (WPQR) and Welder Qualification Test (WQT).
- Prepared fit-up report/ visual, material inspection report and any other inspection report related.
- Liaise with client Inspection department regarding the status of repair/ inspection related scope of work.
- Plan NDT activities as per scope of work given by client (if required).
- Co-ordination of NDT site work including permit etc. those related to preparation and execution of NDT work.
- Organize in conjunction with all maintenance facilities which is required to conduct various NDT methods.
- Monitor the progress of NDT, effectiveness of NDT work execution, reporting, and reports submission processes to client.
- Effectively communicate with client the NDT status, general welding performance, results or data required by client inspection department.
- Review of NDT reports, and all other related NDT documentation.
- Maintain accurate records/ data of all NDT results. Ensure that all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- To ensure quality of equipment during removal/opening.
- Witness and ensure the quality of cleanliness as per client requirements.
- Liaise with client/ engage 3rd party inspector to complete pre and post inspection.
- Ensure the hydrostatic test conducted as required pressure test and provide the inspection report accordingly.
- Ensure all coating/ painting/ insulation has been done as required procedure and client specifications as well as performing those inspections related.
- Performing all required inspections and ensuring it has been completely done as work scope required.
- Ensure the work permit is valid prior to performing any inspection.
- Request client inspectors for inspection activities and make sure this activity is documented.
- Compile all inspection records and prepare dossier as client requirements.

Enough sufficient years of experience in Welding Inspection & Painting/ Coating/ Insulation Inspection.
