**Key Responsibilities: -**
- Prepare and develop monthly management reporting and presentations with emphasis on detailed commentary on variances from budget/ prior year, investigate unusual variances leading to understanding and resolution of issues.
- Prepare monthly consolidation financial reports on timely manner and ensure compliance with statutory requirement and financial reporting standards.
- Oversee the finance team on daily operations including accounts, group consolidation for the business worldwide including in US and Malaysia.
- Manage the Interco control compliance and improve the internal control governance across all processes.
- Provide guidance on managing the group’s expenditures, cost structures and tax payments by streamlining business processes, improving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness and achieving cost savings for the group.
- Oversee and participate in feasibility studies and due diligence on potential investment, organization budget, determining cost effectiveness of respective manufacturing plants and its execution, to advise on the investment impact to the group cash and profit position.
- Responsible for annual budget and quarterly forecast for the business and ensure submission on timely manner.
- Manage day to day finance operations and cost accounting function including communication of issues and opportunities to management.
- Support the development of performance dashboards and any performance ranking deliverables.
- Handle all regulatory and taxation compliance matters including tax computations, tax return submission, tax payments/refunds, funding, transfer pricing requirements and tax planning and financial related legal work.
- Plan and execute risk management as a practice of creating economic value by using financial instruments to manage risk exposure particularly credit risk and market risk.
- Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Management and make recommendations on both strategy and operations to strategically enhance financial performance business decisions and opportunities.
- Monitor and track adherence of actual performance vs budget; perform reforecast as required by Management.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties such as bankers, auditors and company secretary on all treasury, statutory and compliance matters.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including creation of standard and ad-hoc reports and developing automated reports.
- Ensure compliance to internal control policies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop finance team to ensure the financial strategies are implemented effectively.
- Review of agreements, letters and contracts.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignment as and when required by the management team.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant field, and/or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.)
- Preferable with 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance.
- Audit and tax experience will be added advantage.
- Solid experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Must be self-driven with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Independent worker with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- Meticulous with keen attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to work with high volumes of data and translate them into meaningful output.
- Ability to link operational outcomes with potential accounting issues.
- Flexible and willing to support other areas of Finance when necessary.
- Occasional travel to overseas site offices will be required.
- Good communication skills and effective interpersonal skills, ability to work cooperatively and independently.
- Strong multi-tasking skills are essential.

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month

- ACCA, CIMA (preferred)
