Protective Coatings Inspector

**Responsibilities**:

- 2) Apply, Inspect and do testing of various types of above ground and underground protective coatings and insulation such as as Liquid Coatings, Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Coating and Linings, Coal Tar Epoxy, Polyester Glass Flake, Vinyl Ester, 3-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE), 3-Layer Polypropylene (3LPP), Wet Insulation Coating (5LPP) including Field Joint Coatings, Hot Dip Galvanizing (Zinc Coati
- ng), Thermal Sprayed Aluminum (TSA), Wrapping and Heat Shrink Sleeves (HSS) Application prior to project implementation-
- 5)Perform Blasting & Painting works for CPP Topside & Living Quarters (LQ) requirement Surface Preparation, Painting Application, Marking, Water, Jetting Wash Down & Repair, Touch Up & Cosmetic
- 6)Select the correct paint systems from the project specification and recommend paint systems if required in order to get approval from clients Engineering Department
- 7)Perform dry film SSPC PA-2 readings, American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) surface profiles, holiday testing to ensure coating coverage.- 9)Lead in applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the coating processes and non-conformances reports.
- 10)Ensured adherence to SSPC, NACE and ISO standards by contractors, helped the engineers create specifications and company workers to increase quality.
- 11) Performs qualifications of coating processes and checks surface preparation and records atmospheric conditions prior to starting of painting operations.
- 12) Monitor observations of the correct coding cycles and verifies the correct colour-coding and painting.**Benefits**:
