**Customer Service**: Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and helpful attitude. Provide assistance, answer questions, and offer information about products, promotions, and store policies.

**Transaction Processing**: Scan merchandise, enter item codes, or manually input prices into the cash register. Calculate and tally the total cost of purchases, including any applicable discounts, taxes, or fees.

**Cash Handling**: Accept various forms of payment, such as cash, credit cards, debit cards, checks, and mobile payment methods. Accurately count and provide change to customers.

**Cash Register Operation**: Operate electronic cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately. Ensure that the register's cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of the shift.

**Receipts and Records**: Provide customers with itemized receipts for their purchases. Maintain accurate transaction records and file receipts in an organized manner.

**Bagging and Packaging**: Carefully bag or package customers' purchases, ensuring that fragile items are handled with care and that bags are not overloaded.

**Returns and Exchanges**: Process merchandise returns and exchanges in accordance with the store's return policy, ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the resolution.

**Loss Prevention**: Be vigilant and attentive to prevent theft or shoplifting. Follow store security procedures and report any suspicious activities to store management or security personnel.

**Price Verification**: Assist in price checks and verify price discrepancies or discounts as needed.

**Stock Replenishment**: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Restock bags, receipt paper, and other supplies as needed.

**Promotions and Loyalty Programs**: Promote and explain loyalty programs, discounts, and promotions to customers, encouraging them to participate and save on their purchases.

**Knowledge of Store Policies**: Be knowledgeable about the store's return policy, exchange policy, hours of operation, and any ongoing sales or promotions.

**Communication**: Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations at the cash register and throughout the store.

**Problem Resolution**: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Seek assistance from a supervisor or manager when necessary.

**Work Schedules**: Adhere to work schedules, breaks, and shifts, ensuring that the cash register is staffed during peak business hours.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
