Job scope
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements following Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, making recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounts department, including month-end and year-end closing, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, loans, and hire purchase.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Responsible for financial forecasts, projections, and cash flow management to meet operational needs and obligations.
- Review, formulate, implement and follow up on improvements in internal controls and processes
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual financial audits and resolve audit issues.
- Handle corporate tax, transfer pricing, SST, and compliance matters related to financial reports.
- Drive automation and digitalization projects to enhance efficiency.
- Work with stakeholders to obtain government grants/subsidies for the company
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
- Any other tasks assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Min Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance will be preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the role of a Financial Controller/ Manager
- Dedicated individual with good interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with the stakeholders.
- Possess the drive and dedication to manage time tight projects
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills, self-motivated, proactive, analytical, meticulous

**Salary**: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
