Job duties and responsibilities: '¢ Set marketing goals and objectives '¢ Plan, implement and manage marketing strategy. '¢ Contribute to the overall growth of the company. '¢ Review and manage content marketing strategy. '¢ Determine KPIs for sales and marketing department. '¢ Keep the marketing budget in check. '¢ Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports '¢ Work with sales and development and customer success teams '¢ Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy. '¢ Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions '¢ Analyze company's marketing strategy and suggest improvements '¢ Stay up to date with the latest technology. '¢ Stay up to date with the latest best practices. '¢ Attend marketing conferences and educational programs. '¢ Work with customers to present a technical perspective on the company's sales offering. '¢ Giving demonstrations, training and presentations to help clients discover and understand products/services. '¢ Preparing tenders, proposals, and quotations '¢ Providing pre-sales and post-sales support '¢ Reviewing cost and sales performance '¢ Supporting other members of the sales team by training them in the uses of products/services '¢ Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions. '¢ Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements. '¢ Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery. '¢ Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of the product or service and how it may suit the customer better than competing products. '¢ Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs. '¢ Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts. '¢ Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education. '¢ Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required. 'ƒ Job requirements and qualifications: '¢ Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) job description should contain the following requirements and qualifications: '¢ More than 10 years' experience in industrial field. '¢ Must be able to communicate technological solutions and product knowledge not only to technical but to business users as well. '¢ Understanding of the Sales Cycle and where the Sales Engineering Team is responsible. '¢ Being customer centric. '¢ Excellent organizational and time management skills. '¢ Good communication and interpersonal skills. '¢ Excellent presentation skills. '¢ BSc Computer Science or B.Eng. Electrical & Electronic engineering or Mechatronics Engineering Degree or MA in Marketing, Management or similar relevant field. '¢ Strong technical skills. '¢ The ability to negotiate with and influence others. '¢ Teamworking skills. '¢ the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively. '¢ Analytical and problem-solving skills. '¢ Resilience and tenacity '¢ Independence and self-reliance. '¢ Must be willing to travel extensively.
