**Responsibilities**:
Primary role Consolidation and reporting Leading the consolidation team, with key responsibilities on:

- Group consolidated financials and consolidation journals via the BPC Consolidation software; review / assess all consolidation related accounting treatment, including:

- Acquisition, liquidation, disposal, or divestment of subsidiaries / joint ventures / associates - Forex reserve
- Non-controlling interest
- Elimination of intercompany transactions, including transactions between JV/associates (upstream, downstream, between JVs)
- Monthly consolidated financial information (actual and forecast) for Group Financial Report to the senior management
- Quarterly report, workings and sub-schedules supporting the quarterly report disclosures for submission to Bursa Malaysia
- Quarterly papers for Audit Committee and/or Board of Directors approval/notation (related party transactions, non-audit fees, letter of financial support, etc.)
- Group annual audited financial statements, related workings and sub-schedules supporting financial statements disclosures
- Contribute to preparation of selected sections in the annual report (financial statements, list of properties and landbank)
- Prepare consolidated annual budgeted P&L, Balance Sheet and supporting schedules, including consolidation entries.
- Prepare group closing instructions, and plan and execute closing calendars for adherence by accountants and propose workarounds for clashes in timeline
- Set / update group accounting policies based on changes in accounting standards and ensure adherence to group policies by operating units via regular review, guidance, and discussions
- Monthly closing of intermediate investment holding companies
- Attend to requests on group-wide financial information from regulators, shareholders.
- Overall monitoring of the Group’s JV and associates (including review of Battersea financial matters)
- Other ad-hoc exercises, e.g., process improvement, special projects requiring assessment on accounting treatment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
