This role works as part of a team for analytical method research & development.
- Setting up new analytical method, validate both method and equipment.
- Familiar & Capable to handle analytical instrument (GC, HPLC, GCMS, AAS, FTNIR, NIR, NMR, UV, Robotic Sample Prep Instrument, Rancimat and so on)
- Acquainted and knowledgeable in Fat & Oil basic and analytical testing parameter.
- Interpret data & meet strict guidelines on documentation, review & evaluate on experiment, writing report or finding paper as well as present scientific result.
- Optimize & maintain existing analytical procedure & increase the value of it thru lab optimization & automation tool.
- Involve in analytical problem solving & troubleshooting within Bunge Laboratory in Asia
- Involve in ISO 17025 technical explanation and support to keep good documentation
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional team and provide analytical guide.
- Keep up to date with the latest laboratory scientific technology and technical trends of analytical chromatography and spectroscopy instrument
- Use of Software chromatography/Spectroscopy data system (CDS) and Lab information system LIMS & QM SAP system.
Skills & Requirements:
- University Degree in Science Chemistry/Food Science or other relevant field.
- At least 3 years of relevant hands-on laboratory experience preferred in a instrumental testing Oil & Fat - Excellent theoretical & practical understanding and testing skills in fat & oil product
- Strong analytical thinking and expert in chromatography and spectroscopy instrument handling
- Knowledge of GLP and MS ISO/IEC 17025 procedures and documentation is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good IT skills and proficient in the use of Analytical Instrument Acquisition Software chromatography/Spectroscopy data system (CDS). In Addition familiar with Lab information system LIMS & QM SAP system.
- Proficient in statistic & data validation analysis using excel or statistical programming tool
- Ability to contribute to continuous quality improvement, A self-starter who can work on own initiative without constant supervision.
