Welding Inspector

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Minimum SPM Level or equivalent academic qualification.**:

- **Hold the following certificates which shall be kept current and valid at all times**:
**a. CSWIP 3.1 or PCN Level II Welding Inspector**

**b. Minimum THREE (3) years’ related experience in oil and gas inspection,**

**OR;**
- **Hold the following certificates which shall be kept current and valid at all times**:
**a. CSWIP Welding Inspector Level 3.1 certification or PCN Level II Welding Inspector,**

**b. Certified Radiographic Interpreter from CSWIP, PCN or equivalent,**

**c. Minimum THREE (3) years’ related experience in oil and gas inspection**
- **Based in Sabah**:

- **Have a valid T-Bosiet & Offshore Medical**:

- **Duration period (Freelance) : March 2024 to August 2024**

**ATTRIBUTES**
- **Be able to read and interpret on engineering drawings.**:

- **Be fully conversant with mechanical catalogues, general arrangement (GA), P&ID and other related drawings required for the installation of the required works.**:

- **Have a sound knowledge of International Standards and codes relating to oil and gas industry, structure, pipelines, pressure vessels and process facilities e.g. ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, SSPC, BGAS, and NACE standard specifications and statutory body(DOSH) related to corrosion control and monitoring activities.**:

- **Be able to review, comment and approve welding procedures (WPS).**:

- **Be able to review inspection procedures and Inspection Test Plan (ITP).**:

- **Be able to solve problems and perform work under pressure and with a high degree of efficiency.**:

- **Possess computer literacy such as Microsoft Office**:

- **Have demonstrated competence in technical report writing, technical presentation and the ability to perform work with a high degree of initiative.**:

- **Good command in both written and spoken languages i.e. Malay and English.**

Pay: From RM500.00 per day
