QA Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the Quality Department Malaysia
- Oversee the Quality Control system.
- Ensure overall quality standards
- Maintain a close & cooperative relationship with Operations team
- Act as the main responsible party and Management Representative for QMS according to ISO9001 and HSE standards.
- Drive and stimulate continuous improvement processes.
- Define quality requirements for products & machines
- Manage the budget for the Quality Department.
- Prepare and present management review reports.
- Continuously enhance quality awareness
- Define, promote, and ensure a strategic quality approach in all processes.
- Initiate and maintain the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system.
- Implement and sustain the KPI system.
- Coordinate the Customer Complaint system.
- Initiate and manage internal and external audit systems.
- Develop and maintain material and product specifications.
- Expand and maintain product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance of documents and records with Quality System and HSE requirements.
- Lead quality improvement projects within the Quality Management System, monitoring progress and establishing strategies to ensure on-time project completion and meeting objectives within the set timeframe.
- Develop training materials, tests, and guides; provide training and guidance to subordinates.
- Offer ongoing feedback to help subordinates develop necessary skills and competencies.
- Manage recruitment and resource deployment as needed.
- Lead and facilitate customer and external audits, including regulatory and third-party audits.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quality Manager and HSE professional in a production environment, has experience in setting up the QA department is added advantage
- Proven expertise in the ISO9001 quality management system.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Strong analytical and observational skills.
- Practical, hands-on approach.
- Knowledge in paper products is added advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
