Resident Chemist

Responsible as the Quality/Technical manager in the implementation of the Quality Management System as per ISO 17025.

Ensure the requirements of Technical Management are met to prevent or minimize deviation from the

certified test procedures.

Ensure quality control program is carried out, data is analyzed and immediate corrective action are taken

if the result are not satisfactory or within the require specification.

Ensure customer satisfactory, to review all customer request, handle all complain, nonconforming test

work, corrective action, preventive actions and clarify any discrepancy concerning the samples with

customer.

Carried out method and validation on uncertainty measurement.

Proper handling of reference standards and reference materials.

Oversee the calibration and maintenance program for all laboratory equipment and to ensure these are

timely and properly carried out.

Maintain and update all quality and technical record.

Arrange and conduct on job training, including staff competency training.

Conduct technical evaluation and verification for all required future lab purchases: suppliers, quantity,

specification of testing equipment, apparatus glassware, consumables prior to purchase and upon received of ordered items.

Develop standard Operating procedure and work instruction for Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB)

Operation base on approved standard method.

the consistency of the analytical activities carried out in the laboratory as per certified method.

Monitor and maintain documentation and implementation of quality Management system.

- **Degree in Chemistry or related field from recognized university.**_
- **At least 5 years of experience in relevant analytical laboratory prefeerably in oil and Gas**_

**Salary**: RM1,615.51 - RM4,655.38 per month
