Project Consultant

Job scopes

1. To liaise with the lift contractor on lift technical data and supporting documents for schedule submission and approval.

2. To coordinate and ensure documentation are as per the letter of award to lift contactor on behalf of the client

3. Inspect the lift using jkj166 together with the lift contractor prior to dosh inspection, including carrying out a similar inspection as carried out by the Dosh inspector (visual inspection, testing all safety switches, lift functionalities, checking run by and etc)

4. To coordinate lift contractor to carry out testing and commissioning of the lift for dosh inspection and also handover to the client.

5. Liaise with the building owner/representative for work coordination and scheduling.

6. Safety preparation, safety briefing, and job site safety audit to ensure zero incidents at the job site.

7. To inspect material prior to installation by the lift contractor

8. To inspect the building and lift access prior to installation by the lift contractor

9. Coordination with lift contractor and related parties to tackle any challenges that arise from the jobsite.

10. Identify any shortcomings to avoid non-compliance to dosh requirement.

11. To issue certification of payment to lift contractor and relevant documents require

12. To prepare progress claim preparation and submission to the client for ALCSB to claim client

13. Coordinate lift contractor for joint inspection, defects rectification and report submission until PMA cert is obtained.

14. On-site checking for as-built drawing/dosh approval drawings.

15. To check on the operation maintenance manual by the lift contractor

16. To prepare minutes of meetings in on-going project meetings

17. To conduct fortnightly inspection, meeting and evaluations as per requirement on site

18. To advise on necessary matters arising from the work execution by lift contractor

19. To provide best practice, professionalism and uphold ALCSB image

Expectation on project consultant

1. Able to write, read and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English

2. Ethical

3. Have experience in handling projects related to construction. Not necessarily related to lift /escalator installation

4. Able to use and work using Microsoft project

5. Able to write in to communicate with client and contractor

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
