School Nurse

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**
- Provide first aid to sick or injured students.
- Provides health assessments to students, create and maintain health history of students.
- Observes the child for development and health patterns in making nursing assessment.
- Plans and implements school health management protocols
- Develops procedures and provides for emergency nursing management for injuries/illnesses
- Plans, implements, and supervises school health screening programs in accordance with state and district r requirements and recommendations. Provides follow-up services when indicated.
- Provides direct health education, and health counseling to assist students and families in making decisions on health and lifestyles that affect health
- Acts as a resource person in promoting health careers.
- Reports regularly in writing to the principal on school health activities.
- Prepares the budget for school health supplies.
- Any other tasks as and when is required by the management.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- A registered Nurse possess with valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
- At least 1 year experience as staff nurse.
- Preferable experience working in school.
- Required language: Bahasa Malaysia/ English/Mandarin.
- Willing to work at Sungai Petani, Kedah.
- Can start work immediately.
