Boilerman Grade 1

Job Summary: a) The position is responsible in maintaining and monitoring of steam boiler operation in plant. b) Responsible to maintain optimum operation level of steam boiler. c) Responsible for maintaining the operation of compressed dry air system in plant. d) Responsible in maintaining of equipment and machinery, HVAC system and other facilities in plants. e) Responsible in troubleshooting of machine and facilities during abnormalities. f) Responsible to ensure the equipment and facility systems working with minimum number of breakdown and in good quality maintenance as well as to improve machine performances. g) Responsible to maintain optimum operation level of machine/ equipment, HVAC system and other facility equipment. h) Responsible to identify required change parts for equipment and machinery i) Responsible to ensure operation of Engineering adherence to cGMP. Essential Job Functions: 1. To start and to stop the operation of boiler whenever Production needed. 2. To monitor the condition of boiler during operation and adjust the parameters when necessary. 3. Responsible to boiler chemical dosage, boiler blow down, softener water check, safety valve testing, maintain boiler pressure and check boiler water level. 4. Daily recording of fuel consumption, steam pressure record, blow down record, chemical record and air compressor record. 5. To troubleshoot the problem of boiler and air compressor when necessary. 6. To carry out monthly preventive maintenance activities for equipment/ machinery and HVAC system and ensure preventive maintenance are carried out as per schedule. 7. To maintain minimum inventory of spares and consumables. 8. Perform task independently with safety precaution. 9. Receiving of Job Requisition (JR) Form and to ensure repairing/rectification works are completed as per JR form. 10. To inform and report to Superior for any abnormalities or failure occurred during steam boiler operation. 11. Follow instruction given by Superiors and work closely to achieve the target. Take instruction and feedback accordingly. 12. Work together with Peers, share necessary information with each other and guide each other. 13. Other instruction by superior.
