**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain stock rotation according to the first in, first out (FIFO) principle.
- Implement and uphold hygiene and safety standards, including compliance with HACCP guidelines.
**Staff Supervision and Training**:
- Lead and motivate a team of café staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge in customer service, food preparation, and safety procedures.
**Customer Service Excellence**:
- Ensure that guests receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner, striving to exceed expectations.
**Facility Maintenance**:
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the café premises, equipment, and fixtures.
- Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a safe and inviting environment for guests and staff.
**Projection and Planning**:
- Anticipate and plan for busy periods, adjusting staffing levels and resources to meet demand effectively.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing sales and enhancing the overall guest experience.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Education**: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Administration, or a related field.
**Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations, including food preparation, service standards, and menu development.
- Familiarity with computerized POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
