Florist Assistant

Job description

As a Florist Assistant, the primary responsibility is to ensure that the preparation work is performed in order to allow the Florists to create flower arrangements at an effective speed. A florist should have good coordination with the cleanliness and tidiness of the workplace.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and upkeep freshness of flowers (unload and unwrap flowers from boxes and packaging, strip thorns and dead petals, give foliages a fresh cut, prepare buckets with water and refrigerate flowers)
- Maintain cleanliness of the premise (sweep up thorns and branches, leaves and other debris, wash florist tools such as scissors and knives)
- Prepare floristry materials (prepare sponges, wires and wrappers)

**Requirements**:

- No prior experience in floristry necessary Have a love of flowers and people
- Have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus and discipline

The successful hire is required to attend an 8-week training at our headquarter located in TTDI, Kuala Lumpur. Accommodation and meal allowances will be provided for the temporary relocation.

**Salary**: From RM1,200.00 per month

**Salary**: RM1,200.00 - RM1,600.00 per month
