Hiring Bread Bakers

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of bread products, including but not limited to Danish, Baguettes, Sweet Bun, and Europe breads.
- Follow established recipes and techniques to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Monitor proofing, shaping, and baking processes to achieve desired results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery, including equipment and workstations.
- Assist in the development of new bread recipes and products.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on baking equipment as needed.
- Uphold our commitment to excellence in customer service by providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers when needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in processes and products.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bread Baker or similar role in a commercial bakery setting.
- Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredients.
- Creativity and a passion for experimenting with new flavors and ingredients.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Formal culinary training or apprenticeship in baking.
- Experience with sourdough and natural fermentation techniques.
- Familiarity with organic and locally-sourced ingredients.
- Knowledge of allergen management and dietary restrictions.
- Experience working in a scratch bakery environment.
