EXECUTIVE PLANT OPERATION & SHIFT OPERATION Responsibilities: '¢ - To coordinate, manage and lead a group of Technician and Operator to achieve section and company objectives, KPI and goals '¢ - To set up, ensure and maintain machineries in good working conditions with Autonomous and Preventive system '¢ - To run production in accordance to regulation standards, achieve quality as per specification and quantity as per production plan '¢ - To assist Manager/Assistant Manager in all activities in Chilled Plant (A) Production and Maintenance I. To lead and control production and maintenance activities among team members. II. Monitor performance of technician, Operator to ensure productivity III. Keep production line and equipment clean and sanitize according to QMS and WI IV. Keep operation at high efficiency rates of material and machines to minimize production losses and toward low-cost operation. V. Carry out improvement activities, investigate 'œout of norm'
- and find out solution based on best practice VI. Plan and ensure routine maintenance activities effectively to minimize down time VII. Conduct TPM activities, monitor machine and equipment performance. VIII. Assist Manager on shift related operation activities; to solve operation problem on day-to-day basis & report any problems to him/her IX. Ensure all the team member is working complying to the company regulations and system such as ISO standard, HACCP, GMP, Safety and Environment (OHSAS) (B) Planning, Execution and Assessment I. Plan production and cleaning activities for optimum capacity utilization II. Plan for raw material availability and FIFO usage. III. Monitor CIP chemical usage and delivery. IV. Plan maintenance works according to TPM's need V. Plan for sufficient manpower, man hours and parts for the jobs VI. Execute planned maintenance works in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner VII. Assess works quality and effectiveness to the system after the job is complete (C) Quality I. Ensure all production and maintenance activities are in accordance with SOP, QMS, priorities on plant CCP/CPs II. Ensure personal hygiene, GMP and good housekeeping standards maintain in line with HACCP/ISO 22000/22002/FSSC requirement. III. Ensure all record and checklist for process and maintenance are in order and properly documented. IV. Identify and manage matters related to quality for strict adherence by team members V. Conduct yearly validation for CCP, CIP and new process/line/ validation/verification (D) Safety & Environment I. Ensure safety procedures and safe working methods are practiced II. Identify and manage SHE related matters at workplace including develop and update HIRADC III. Monitor team members and vendor/contractor for strict adherence to personal safety & other Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) related matters IV. Ensure compliance to Environmental Management System ISO 14001, included Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) discharge and waste management (E) Training & Development I. Conduct OJT course, train and develop new employees. II. Conduct training for subordinate as per training plan (GMP, HACCP etc.) for staff awareness and competency. (F) Material I. Ensure proper control and use of the spare parts / tools / materials / equipment in performing the works II. Ensure sufficient spare parts is keep in the inventory (G) Manpower I. To make manpower arrangements and ensure maximum utilization of resources II. Plan timely schedule for team members to man the operation lines by taking into consideration of those who are on annual, emergency, medical leaves (absenteeism) III. Check daily attendance of team members to ensure allocation of manpower at operation lines are balanced and is as per line/labor standard IV. Provide report on manpower allocations in the operation lines to Manager V. Monitor & control overtime & cost to ensure continuous operations & efficiency (H) General I. Update maintenance historical information for critical equipment in Chilled Plant II. Troubleshoot problems affecting milk quality, productivity including mechanical and electrical etc III. Coordinate with relevant parties to solve machines & equipment problems IV. Monitor repair works to ensure that they are carried out in a timely manner to minimize un-planned down time (UPDT) V. Participate actively in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities VI. Engage team members/subordinates for people development purposes; cost optimization and quality improvement activities i.e., through ICC, suggestion activity, Kaizen, QCC, FI, 5S, MDWT etc. I) Others I.
