**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**1.) Product Formulation**:

- Develop and formulate new health food products using scientific principles and innovative approaches.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, tests, and analyses to optimize product formulations for quality, stability, and efficacy.
- Participate in prototype development, ensuring that products meet desired sensory, nutritional, and functional attributes.
- Conduct in-depth research on the nutritional content and health benefits of ingredients to optimize product formulations.

**2.) Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance**:

- Assist in evaluating and selecting raw materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with 3rd party laboratory testing and analysis to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and test results. Prepare technical reports and presentations as required.
- Stay updated with relevant regulations and guidelines related to health food products and ensure compliance in product development and labeling.

**3.) Production Support**:

- Collaborate with production teams to scale up formulations from lab to manufacturing, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

**4.) Customer / Marketing Support**:

- Work closely with the sales/marketing team to understand market trends and consumer preferences and assist in writing product proposals and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with sales or directly with customers to provide label information, nutritional data, and technical support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes related to health food product development.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Chemistry, Nutrition, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food product development, preferably in the health food industry.
- Strong understanding of nutritional science, food chemistry, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and techniques for formulation and testing.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ipoh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
