IT Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- 1. as an IT Technician, will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers and security systems. This role is absolutely essential within any organization to ensure business continuity if an IT network fails, the impact on the day to day running of the business can be significant, sometimes catastrophic.
- 2. responsible for investigating and diagnosing network problems, collecting IT usage stats, making recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.
- 3. Manage day to day overall operations of the IT team in providing system administration, maintenance, and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting and related IT assets.
- 4. Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
- 5. Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- 6. Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
- 7. Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- 8. Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
- 9. Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
