Introduction to Lazada Logistics (LL) and Lazada Marketplace
Everything written about eCommerce opportunity in Southeast Asia is overwhelmingly positive - a

rate of eCommerce share of total retail at around 1 percent shows enormous opportunity in
comparison to 14-17% in the west and China.
Despite these extraordinary possibilities, the logistics environment in SE Asia remains a huge
challenge.
Lazada Logistics (LL) mission is to address these challenges, delight customers and win them over to
eCommerce. We are building an innovative, highly visible, low cost logistics network. Our operating
model is based on an ecosystem of logistics partners stitched together with state of the art
technology and our modular infrastructure
LL is the Logistics arm of the Lazada Group and is structured around four operating Business Units-Transport: Management of our ecosystem of partners (3PLs) along all the transportation
components-Lazada Express (LEX): LEX team is committed to flawless delivery performance, handling
every parcel with care from first mile pick-up to last mile delivery.Fulfilment: Operation of a network of warehouses that can fill retail orders on our own
behalf, as well as providing fulfilment services to merchants and international brands-Cross Border: Build-up & management of international logistics network giving seamlessly
access to ASEAN
The role
Assist the Security Manager to develop, implement and enforce security policies, procedures
initiatives covering all company assets, shipment and personnel.
Role and responsibilities include (but not limited) the following:
1. To supervise, monitor day to day security activities and direct daily operations of Security
Business.
2. Conduct daily inspection on selected sites in order to ensure all security systems / services are well
maintained and fully functionality e.g. access card / VMS system / CCTV and alarm system.
3. Ensure the implementation of approval SOP’s within Lazada operations.

4. To conduct Security awareness briefing to all internal and external Lazada staffs to ensure that
everyone is compliance towards Security Preventive Measures.
5. To analyst and evaluate the security operations audit on security service provider and respective
hub/warehouse on quarterly basis.
6. To manage security incidents and to ensure prevention, detection, containment and correction of
security breaches.
7. To conduct investigation on security cases reported and submit report to security manager.
8. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of security provider e.g. daily patrolling, daily checklist,
developing security knowledge, business attendance)
9. Be aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures and the departments responsibility during
emergency
skills.Good knowledge in security system, security procedures, security training and security
administration.Work location based at Subang Jaya, Selangor.
