We are currently looking for a **Back-end Developer** Back-end Developer, who wants to level up their career in the payment industry. If you are highly motivated and have experience in developing payment company products, we are hiring a Back-end Developer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team and personal learning.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Address and improve any technical issues related to performance and scalability.
- Other tasks assigned.

**To qualify, you must have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework/Laminas etc.).
- Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Understanding of design patterns.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with MySQL, database design and optimization.
- Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with TDD and unit testing with PHP.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus.
