**About the job**

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic **Business Development Internship Program **to spearhead the creation of new business plans for our GK ASIA SDN BHD.

GK ASIA is a subsidiary of Gourmet Kineya based in Osaka, Japan. Gourmet Kineya has been a prominent player in the Japan’s food industry for over five decades. Gourmet Kineya has diversified its portfolio with a wide array of restaurant concepts, spanning from udon and soba noodle establishments to eateries offering Western-style eateries and culturally themed dining experiences across Japan. Moreover, Gourmet Kineya has extended its reach beyond the realm of dining, exploring into sectors such as hospitality and e-commerce. Additionally, Gourmet Kineya is intensifying its efforts to grow beyond the borders of Japan.

Gourmet Kineya established GK ASIA to facilitate global expansion in collaboration with Inspire, a Japanese investment firm. GK Asia is the business expansion into ASEAN countries. Currently, GK Asia primarily engaged in activities focused on manufacturing ready-to-eat food products for convenience stores in Malaysia. GK ASIA formed 'MYNEWS Kineya' in a joint venture with MyNEWS in Malaysia. It is a food manufacturing company specific for ready-to-eat meals for convenience stores selling in MyNEWS and CU outlets.

**Resposibilities**:
1. **Market Research and Analysis**: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes within the F&B industry. Analyze data to uncover new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion.

2. **Business Plan Development**: Develop detailed business plans outlining strategic objectives, target markets, revenue projections, and resource requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

3. **Able to Express Creative Idea using Microsoft**: Proficient in generating and organizing creative ideas utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for presentation to GK Asia management.

- **Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Ability to build rapport, negotiate agreements, and influence decision-makers.
- **High motivation and Commitment to the task**: Demonstrates an unwavering dedication and enthusiasm towards assigned tasks, consistently striving to achieve goals and surpass expectations.
- **Able to Conduct Research** : Capable of crafting hypotheses derived from independent analysis and research
- **Creativity** : Create business models with autonomy for creativity, and effectively communicate opinions through presentations.
- **Skilled in utilizing AI tools **:Possesses advanced proficiency in effectively leveraging AI tools, demonstrating adeptness in harnessing their capabilities to optimize workflows, problem-solve, and enhance productivity across various tasks and projects.

**Requirement**:

- **Own Transportation**: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to Office, market survey, and industry events as needed.
- **Fluency in English **:Proficiency in English is preferred, as it will facilitate communication with manager, partners, and clients. Additional language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
