CNC Machinist

Setup and operate 3-axis, 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC Milling machines or CNC Turn-mill, CNC Turning and Auto-lathe according to procedures and engineering drawings to manufacture machined part efficiently and to specifications
- Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed
- Responsible in CNC machine setup for junior level CNC Machinist to help eliminate non-conformance and machine downtime
- Setup and operate CNC machines to produce part as per drawing and within specification
- Setup, operate and maintains measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for inspection
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work area at all time
- Able to train Machine Operators to operate CNC machine
- Responsible for material wastage control, manufacturing cost reduction and compliance with safety requirements
- Identify root causes and corrective action to resolve production process and quality issues
- Use prescribed procedures to inspects parts produced to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements that will eliminate defects, scrap and rework
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition on a daily basis, report defective machine, equipment, materials and/or faulty operations to supervisor
- Able to perform troubleshooting and regular maintenance on CNC machines
- Responsibility to inform superior on machine and tooling conditions that may cause quality and safety issue
- Carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by Management

**Salary**: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotational shift
