Company Background: Japanese company engaged in the manufacturing of plastic colour compounds
- Ensure compliance with the relevant machinery and facilities laws and regulations, i.e., Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia, TNB, Bomba, Machinery Department, DOE, JBA, DOSH, etc.
- Responsible for the supervision, guidance, and engagement of the maintenance team.
- Train and lead others to perform preventive maintenance functions and standards, and minimize the services of outside contractors.
- Assist, and coordinate service provided by external contractors to service and maintain for air conditioning firefighting system, cooling tower, water pump, and vacuum pump whenever necessary.
- Check and inspect electrical facilities to ensure they are effective and safe. Regular inspection of vacuum circuit breaker/Air circuit breaker. Transformer oil level, temperature, and gas level checking and keeping substation clean.
- Check and inspect machines or equipment conditions daily to ensure they are effective and safe. Prompt action is taken to repair machinery / replace parts.
- Work closely with the Energy Manager in developing and implementing measures to ensure efficient electrical energy management.
- Responsible for troubleshooting electrical faults or problems, repairing, servicing, maintenance, and installation.
- Check air compressor condition daily and be in charge of its maintenance.
- Work closely with Production Manager to achieve department goals, minimize machine downtime, smooth operations, and improve cost efficiency.
- Assist with project management of all related building changes and expansions, including modifications/improvements to the building system.
- Maintain accurate records regarding routine inspection and preventive maintenance of all mechanical equipment, machines, facilities, and daily work/ project logs.
- Prepare monthly reports to supervise engineers on electrical status.
- Preparing and documenting daily maintenance logs and downtime reports.
- Keep a stock list for machine parts and accessories. Conduct Auditing, including Safety/ ISO Internal Audit.
- Participate in budget preparation.
- Any other responsibility may be assigned by the immediate Superior occasionally.

**Qualification**:

- hands-on experience in fixing injection molding machine and extruder machine
- Possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from any recognized institution and with a BO Chargeman Certificate issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia.
- A minimum of 7 years of technical and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess leadership skills and able to lead a team to excel in work challenges and thrives for efficiency.
- Good troubleshooting, proactive and problem-solving skills, resourceful, attention to detail, good judgment and decision making, and a sense of urgency.
- Good communication skills, ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in MS. Office i.e. Word, and Excel.
- Physically fit and willing to work at odd hours, especially during holidays, weekends, and after office hours, and attend to call back for maintenance as and when necessary.

**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
