Procurement / Purchasing Executive

**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, prepare and process purchase orders according to order requirements and to avoid supply interruption at calculated risk.
- Facilitate resolution if issue arises between company and supplier.
- Perform day to day procurement activities including purchasing and delivery follow up and liaise with suppliers on all quotation.
- Manage, monitor, and maintain stock inventory levels, place orders and material planning to ensure sufficient stock inventory level.
- Review quality of purchased products and monitor all the incoming material delivery / shipment.
- Handle administrative duties relating to purchases, including monitor and track orders to make sure material timely delivery, and ensuring records are kept up to date.
- Continuously search for new potential vendors, compare, negotiate, and evaluate offers from suppliers for best price and terms.
- Act as a contact point to negotiate contract terms of agreement, seek for best pricing, and maintain a good business relationship with vendors or suppliers.
- Coordinate import shipment and handle custom affairs.
- Coordinate and work closely with related department (Warehouse, QA QC department) to ensure smooth running operation and proper storage.
- Prepare reports on purchases, monitor sales volume, including cost analyses.
- Assist in new store opening planning and arrangement.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up to date with the current industry trends.
- Able to undertake the ad-hoc tasks and related duties as and when required from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- At least **2* **Year(s)* of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Proven work experience as a Procurement or Purchasing Executive or similar role specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain in Food & Beverage Industry or equivalent would be an added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure with mínimal supervision and good time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software or system
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
