Backend Developer

**You will bring and continuously build upon the following skills**:

- 2+ Years’ experience in backend development
- Experience programming in Python, Javascript
- Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns
- Experience in REST API development, database design, and optimisations
- Exposure to Docker is a plus
- Experience with building machine learning / AI solutions is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills

**On the job you will**:

- Develop, lead and scale our new backend-end portal (New initiative)
- Oversee backend development practice and keep our technical standards
- Fully own features from product, to working on iterations and improvements
- Improving and refactoring our current codebases
- Evaluating new technologies for the platform

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
