Responsible for the full spectrum of financial, accounting functions, and business support.
- Manage and lead the finance team to ensure effective day-to-day operations of overall accounting and financial functions.
- Understanding input drivers and validate the integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision making and planning by using data to provide advice and/or disruptive ideas.
- Identify, resolve, or provide guidance on the resolution of complex data integrity issues while improving controls to address financial risk and support frugality.
- Timely and accurate monthly/annual financial (including P&L, balance sheet, etc.) and management reporting, in compliance with the applicable governing standards and regulations and group reporting requirements.
- Effectively and efficiently work with a tax agent, auditors, company secretary and bankers, and all other relevant parties.
- Preparation and implementation of budgets
- Preparation, monitor, and perform financial analysis and expenditure of the company.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimum cash level, and make sound recommendations on how much cash should be retained in the company, invested in capital projects, and how much should be distributed to shareholders.
- Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- To research, review, and recommend the latest technological advancements (those that are related to financial management) that are essential to the company’s long-term growth plans.
- Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support the start-up’s growth.
- Developing the corporate fundraising strategy and managing relationships with partners and investors

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of managing Finance Operations with 3+ years of direct management experience.
- Ability to adapt and adopt to various demands and expectations of a fast-growing company including thinking, planning, and acting/executing outside the box.
- Comfort in the start-up environment (i.e., sometimes chaotic and lacking structure) and able to create structure and foundational accounting processes.
- Strong priority management skills
- Hands on approach and to coach subordinates to ensure they understand and meet the company’s high standards (including values, culture, and leadership principles.)
- Maintain absolute confidentiality on all company’s data and trade secrets.
- Ability to be innovative and outperform on all tasks and responsibilities
- Positive attitude, hardworking, trustworthy, and mature, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Protect the company’s information and interest at all times.
- Committed to do whatever it takes, including working long hours to deliver results.
- Have good leadership qualities coupled with leadership skills
- Maintain high standards of integrity, credibility, and ethics
- Ability to work independently and yet be a team player.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Analytical, problem solver, and multitasker - with the ability to do highly unstructured work.
- To ensure that company interest is the priority and comes first, and to do whatever is necessary (including weekends, off days, and public holidays) to meet this objective.
- Ensure that KPI and all tasks assigned and deliverables are completed as per the timeline; or earlier.
- Collaboration work with teams of all levels.
- Willing to travel outstation and overseas as and when required.

**Salary**: RM6,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
