We are looking for an accounts that is responsible for maintaining our company’s day-to-day bookkeeping activities include recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts. We need someone with a strong sense of time management and organisational skills, and with exposure to many aspects of the accounting functions. Being consistent, accurate, and minimizing errors are key characteristics that we are seeking for this position. It is indispensable to have a knowledge of accounting and to understand how to use accounting software systems such as Xero, Quickbook, SQL, MYOB, etc. Relevant Skills and Experience - Accounting entry skills (knows how to pass journal entries) - High attention to detail - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel - Produce work with a high level of accuracy - Time management and organization skills - Associated diploma, certificates or at least five year of experience in full set bookkeeping - Knowledge of accounting systems (please list) - Knowledge of SFRS and Income Tax Act (Singapore) *preferred Job description generally includes: - Handle Full Set Accounts - Recording day to day transactions such as income and expenses, accruals and posting them to various accounts - Managing AP and AR - Processing collection and payments - Conducting banking activities (putting up payment to be approved) - Producing various financial reports (i.e annual report, management accounts) - Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements. - Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions - Update and maintain the general ledger - Passing and maintenance of Journal Entries - Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers - Accounting entries reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions - Monitor any variances from the projected budget - Handle Payroll, prepare payslip, CPF submission - Use knowledge of SFRS to comply with reporting requirements (preferred) - Assist in other duties in relation with administration and accounts or financial matters as required from time to time
