1. To assist Facility Manager in managing overall assets including building, biomedical equipment and facilitate maintenance procedures.

2. To assist Facility Manager in overseeing facility daily maintenance, repair, refurbishment and renovations.

3. To attend management meetings on behalf of the department in absence of Facility Manager and attend user request & retrieval of information.

4. To ensure all mechanical and electrical facilities adhere to our Hospital policies and guidelines.

5. Effectively implement Corrective Maintenance, a planned Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Program for the regular maintenance and servicing of all hospital building system including but not limited

6. To supervise and to ensure that the works assigned to and performed by the Technician are completed satisfactorily in accordance with statutory requirements and by the deadline.

7. Dealing with schedule changes, employee call-ins, and other staffing issues.

8. Keeping day to day activities organised and observes all statutory requirements and other legislation related to work.

9. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment with policies, procedures and guidelines.

10.To liaise and co-ordinate with Outsourced Service providers and contractors.

11. Arranges to keep adequate levels of supplies and spare parts in store relevant to maintenance requirements within his jurisdiction and keeps the Facility Manager fully informed of equipment and supply requirements.

12. To provide reports and statistics, and extract information necessary for user analysis and reporting.

13. Produce staff reports as and when required to do so.

14. Maintain confidentially of information arising from the special privileges accorded in the course of duty.

15. To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor and /or Management from time to time.
