Supervisors are the backbone of our management team in store providing leadership and co-ordination on our shop floor whilst setting an aspiration example of 5* Customer Experience for the Team. Lots of our Shop Managers started out as Supervisors, what are you waiting for?
**Your Business**
Drive sales through understanding and analyzing your business drivers, including average sale, conversion, Mystery Shop Reports. Communicating business results with the team, and implementing new plans and ideas will be key to improved results.
Ensure your shop is well looked after. Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, & well merchandised and your stock fresh for our customers, and all back of house areas as clean, safe, and pleasant as you can for the team.
Complete and work towards your budget, using your Management Accounts each month to chart your progress. You should use your budget to ensure your staffing and operational costs are in line, and your retail margin is on budget as a % of sales.
Make sure all staff members follow appropriate cash handling and banking procedures, to ensure all money is kept safe.
Where company-wide procedures and policies exist, you should ensure you and your team work within these parameters. This includes working to deadlines when set by the wider business as well as any company-wide policies stated in the Employee Handbook.
**Your Leadership**
Contribute to the vision of your shop, by supporting your shop managers with the “top box” goals for the store and team, and ensure that all decisions you make ultimately contribute towards achieving these.
Take on any tasks as requested by your managers in order to develop your skills to effectively manage the business, such as training, social media, visual merchandising, scheduling, forecasting, ordering, recruitment and stock management reports.
Keep the development of the team at the forefront of your mind, and ensure that you support the shop management team in identifying the strength and maximising the team’s potential.
All decisions you make should be inclusive of all members of your team.
**Your Development**
You are responsible for your own development. Create your own career goals, and ensure you’re on the right path. Regularly assess your own performance and where there are gaps in your knowledge or skill, work out the best way to move forward.
Routinely seek out the development you feel you need from your shop managers, so they can tailor-make learning opportunities for you and understand your career goals. Utilize any feedback, coaching, meetings and reviews that you receive - they all exist to develop your skills.

- Experience with managing and motivating people
- Be able to work closely with the Store Manager and Management Team to achieve shared monthly business goals
- Someone with strong leadership skills that thrives in a fast paced environment, that works efficiently and effectively on a busy shopping centre shop floor
- Able to coach and develop an ever-growing team, through giving consistent and constructive feedback with the aim of driving sales and staff members' personal development
- A passion for our products and Visual Merchandising Skills as a way to support sales
- Someone who is an active listener and can listen and implement changes if necessary
- A lover of all things Customer Experience and The Customer Journey
