This position reports directly to the Head of Department.
1. Radiographer of the imaging Department relies on extensive experiences and judgment to assist manager to accomplish goals.
2. Radiographer to draft and implement to overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedure and services include, MRI, CT scan, Ultrasound, General X-Ray, mobile X-Ray, C - Arm and intervention procedure. Ensure efficient and effective departmental operation. Able to perform a variety of tasks, leads and directs the work of others.
4. May contribute in intervention procedures, patient care and perform mobile radiograph in other hospital departments, including Operation Theater (OT), Accident & Emergency (A&E) and Wards.
5. This position required individuals who are not only friendly and helpful to patient, physicians and staff, but also have high degree of professionalism and wide degree of creativity, latitude and knowledge.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Assist to planning, organizing, managing and develop the Imaging Department to serve the need of all specialties in hospital.
2. Assist to document, implement and review the policies and procedure for department in liaison with the management.
3. To interview all new employees for diagnostic department in liaison with human resource department.
4. To plan, conduct and evaluate staff orientation, in services training and educational program to ensure correct and professional policies are carried out at all times by all staffs.
5. To plan, organize, direct control and evaluate day to day operation of the department, develop and implement quality assurance and improvement activity, thus ensuring an efficient service is providing to the hospital.
6. To have line management responsibilities for all staff in the department, thus ensuring staffing is adequate at all times to provide the services.
7. To ensure that all imaging Supplies are maintained and adequate at all time.
8. To ensure all statistic data required by management or other agencies are collected and accurate and provided timely.
9. To ensure all equipment is services timely to ensure in good condition and fulfill the entire requirement set by authorize body.
10. Perform the primary function as a Cardiac Angiographer, secondary function as radiographer in planning, performing and evaluating images and radiograph when required.
11. To deal with patient or customer complain, investigate and give feedback to customer and guest department (CGAD).
12. To ensure all staff is adequate and fully trained and they are competent to carry out their duties.
13. To perform any other duty as and when directed by management or directors.
14. To take reasonable care at workplace for safety of oneself, others and to comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety, health and environment as required. Report all accident /incident and hazard to superior and complete the incident report form for each accident / incident.
15. To perform other related duties as assigned.
**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
