Junior Tester

**Location**: Remote / Work from home

**Hours**: Part-time, flexible or Full-time

**Pay**: RM 1,000 - RM 4,000 per month depending on performance & availability

Rates reviewed after 1-3 months

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with project managers and development leads to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Running test cases and test scripts to identify defects, bugs, and issues in the software.
- Recording test results and documenting defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.
- Ensuring that the software's features and functionalities align with the specified requirements.
- Verifying that the software operates as expected in different scenarios.
- Effectively communicating testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts
- Conducting security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the software.
- Recommending measures to enhance the software's security and protect against potential threats

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in English
- Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance is highly desirable. This experience can come from internships, previous jobs, and personal projects.
- Willing to work outside of regular hours
- Interest in self learning and upskilling to better deliver projects with guidance provided.
