Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive Maintenance: - Perform routine inspections of electric motorcycles to identify potential issues and ensure they are operating at their best. - Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as battery checks, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and brake inspections. - Follow manufacturer guidelines and recommended service intervals to maintain vehicle warranties and extend the lifespan of components. 2. Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: - Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot technical issues with electric motorcycle systems, including batteries, motors, controllers, and charging systems. - Interpret diagnostic codes and perform necessary repairs or replacements to resolve faults effectively. 3. Repairs and Component Replacement: - Repair or replace faulty components and systems, such as batteries, motors, inverters, electrical wiring, and electronic controls. - Collaborate with parts suppliers to source and order replacement parts when needed. 4. Software and Firmware Updates: - Perform software updates and firmware installations to ensure electric motorcycles are running on the latest versions for optimal performance and security. 5. Safety Compliance: - Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while conducting maintenance and repairs to protect both yourself and the electric motorcycle. - Ensure that vehicles comply with all relevant safety regulations and standards. 6. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and any part replacements performed on each electric motorcycle. - Provide clear and concise reports on the condition of vehicles and any additional repairs or maintenance required. 7. Continuous Learning: - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EV technology, tools, and maintenance techniques through training and workshops. Requirements: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in automotive/electric vehicle technology is preferred. - Experience: Prior experience in electric vehicle maintenance or automotive mechanics is highly advantageous. - Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electric vehicle components, systems, and diagnostic procedures. - Attention to Detail: Meticulous in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electric motorcycles to ensure safety and performance. - Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions. - Physical Endurance: Capable of handling physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy components and maneuvering motorcycles. - Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to interact with team members and provide clear maintenance reports.
