**About the Project and this Position**:The project (**Health Facility Survey, HFS**) objective is to assess the supply of healthcare services in Malaysia's public and private health facilities for the Ministry of Health, Government of Malaysia (MoH) by capturing the following information in each facility: facility location, availability of clinical and clinical support services, service utilisation, key infrastructure, including medical equipment, human resources for health, quality of services, ICT infrastructure, and sources of revenue and expenditure. An online survey will collect data from all public and private health facilities in Malaysia, followed by an onsite survey of a sample of facilities that responded to the online survey for validation purposes. We are looking for six field enumerators who will be assigned to a particular region to perform the following activities broadly**:

- Validate the data received through the online survey by in-person visits to a sample of the private health facilities that responded to the online survey.
- Coordinate with the focal person in the Ministry of Health at the state or district level, if required, for any support/facilitation to conduct the onsite survey at the selected sample of private health facilities.
- Active coordination with national enumerators (NE) to complete data validation in selected facilities.

**Roles and Responsibilities are as follows**:
A field enumerator will be responsible for the following activities for his/her assigned region:

- Participate in in-person training about online data collection and onsite data validation of the HFS.
- Participate in discussions related to sample selection for on-site data validation.
- Coordinate regularly with the national enumerator to get the list of assigned facilities for data validation.
- Receive the contact details of the nodal officer of the assigned facilities from the NE and update them during data validation if required.
- Liaise with the facility nodal officer to create your visit plan, discuss it with NE for any suggestions/feedback, and update it.
- Review the online entered data for the assigned facilities before the visit and coordinate with NE for any questions.
- Make site visits, introduce yourself, and validate the information based on various methods explained by the NE or concerned officer within the team.
- Assist the NE in maintaining the survey database, conducting quality checks, and following up with the nodal officer of a given facility in case of identified errors/issues in the validated data.
- Conduct regular meetings with NE at least weekly to discuss the validation process followed, facilities covered, key risks and provide suggestions to address those risks.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Officer within the incumbent’s expertise and experience.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Science, Business Administration, Public health, Health Administration, Social Sciences, or equivalent qualifications.
- Relevant work experience, mainly in health research projects involving collecting quantitative and qualitative data.
- Professional experience in handling MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay language.
- Experience in working and delivering on short deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Able to handle a variety of concurrent activities, organise work efficiently, and deliver assignments on time.

**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
