Inventory Audit Assistant Manager

**Job Location** :Head Office at 12, Jln TP 2, Taman Perindustrian SIME UEP, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor
**POSITION PURPOSE (About the Role)**
This position is responsible for ensuring the company’s inventory accuracy and integrity. Requires attention to detail and analytical skills to review and verify inventory records. Maintain accurate inventory data, preventing fraud, and ensuring shops and warehouse compliance with company’s process.
**POSITION DESCRIPTION (Duties & Responsibilities)**
**Inventory Count and Audit**
- Conduct on site store audits (both compliance and operational review) and stock take audits according to the audit plan.
- Conduct a comparison between physical inventory count and system records, and investigating any discrepancies
- Identify root cause of losses and implementing corrective actions.
- Detect frauds and errors on store operations.
- Develop and implement a cycle counting program to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare audit schedule and task for subordinates to document audit evidence and conclusions.
**Inventory Control Procedures**
- Develop process and Standard Operating Procedures for inventory control.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to inventory management.
- Advise and recommend areas for improvements on the current store operating processes.
- Periodic review on the scope of the store audit review and recommend for enhancement on the standard audit program.
**Reporting and Records**
- Maintain accurate records and document all inventory audit activities and findings.
- Perform system data analysis and relevant risk assessments on the areas assigned.
- Prepare internal audit reports and maintenance of the proper audit working papers according to the required standards.
- Draft audit report supported with practical and value added recommendations.
- Present monthly audit inventory report to superior.
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS (academic, experience, competencies etc.)**
- SPM/Diploma/Degree in Inventory Audit or equivalent.
- With at least 10 years relevant working experience with 5 years at supervisory level, leading a team of staffs.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Able to work independently with strong initiative, committed and also capable in working as a team to meet the timelines.
- A dedicated individual who is meticulous and maintains a high level of integrity at all times, with good leadership skills.
- Able to communicate with various level of people.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment and meeting deadline.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
