Night Matron

**Specific responsibilities and expectations of this role**

1. To work with the medical and boarding teams in overseeing the health,
safety, and pastoral care of the boarders.
2. To oversee the security and upkeep of the boarding facilities.
3. To support boarding staff with boarders’ illnesses in the evening.
a. To administer evening medication doses
b. To conduct all evening vitals checks and tests.
c. To carry out evening external medical transport needs.
4. To support the evening routines in the boarding halls.
5. To respond to any night-time emergency calls from the Halls.
reports and direct communication with the parents, boarding staff, day
matrons, facilities and medical team.
7. To ensure that boarders’ clothes and personal belongings are in good
repair, used and worn appropriately and stored securely and tidily.
8. To act as a fire marshall over the boarding facilities.
9. To operate school transport vehicles as needed.
10. To assist with collecting/distributing boarders’ devices.
11. To support boarders in managing their evening routines.
12. To manage laundry routines -internal and external.
13. To manage boarders’ check-in and check-out processes.
14. To tend to sickbay/isolation zone needs.
15. To maintain all boarding equipment/supply inventory.

16. To maintain the highest level of discretion when handling confidential
and sensitive information and materials.
17. To supervise and support external vendors and events accessing the
boarding facilities.
18. To assist with airport transfers.
19. To assist with term break needs, including picking-up boarding tutor
shifts.
20. To attend such meetings and official school functions as are
appropriate for the role.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
