Responsibilities:
Designated Person Ashore (DPA) Function: Act as the designated person ashore responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations for all vessels operated by the company.

Compliance Management: Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant international, national, and company-specific regulations and standards.

Safety Management System (SMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System, including risk assessments, incident reporting and investigation, emergency response procedures, and safety training.

Training and Development: Conduct training and awareness programs for onboard personnel and shore-based staff to enhance their understanding of safety, security, and environmental requirements.

Incident Management: Oversee the reporting, investigation, and analysis of incidents and near-misses, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.

Vessel Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of vessels to assess compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards, and follow up on corrective actions.

Regulatory Compliance: Keep up-to-date with changes in maritime regulations and ensure the organization's operations and procedures align with new requirements.

Emergency Response: Develop and test emergency response plans and procedures, including oil spill response, search and rescue, and other critical incidents.

Vendor and Supplier Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards, including audits and inspections.

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Maritime: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Malay & English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- DPA Certification or relevant (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
