Assistant Manager

Job Description
- Manage whole stream of global supply chain activities through supply chain cost analysis and conduct planning for the purchase of raw materials and parts and components for a manufacturing company
- Perform supply chain analysis to determine material cost and find ways to cost down
- Analyse supply and demand trends to monitor inventory volumes and trends to minimize wastages or surplus
- Conduct procurement of goods and services as well as negotiate with supplier on terms of business
- Streamline processes and policies to maximize company profitability within the supply chain
- Negotiate with suppliers for the pricing and business terms
- Conduct evaluation, assessment and analysis of suppliers
- Liaise with Accounting department and banks and continually seek ways to keep costs down
- Drive new methods and frameworks into the organization including purchase and shipment schedule organization
- Identify the bottlenecks of the purchasing/supply chain process process and enhance process flow in order to eliminate human error
**Qualifications**:
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Procurement and manufacturing experience preferred
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Business or equivalent
- Working hours include half day on Saturday
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
