JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:
- Plan the workforce requirements for the Division. Provide information and advice on benchmark salaries, and benefit and the use of different mediums of recruitment- Responsible for salary determination for new employees, and employees on promotions and inform the Service Centre of the changes. Ensuring all new recruits salary information in the BU’s are provided to payroll- Responsible for the effective talent management strategy which includes, performance management, development, retention, succession planning and counselling- Work with Line Managers to identify training needs for staff in their divisions and collaborate with Training and Development Department- Facilitate leadership development & coaching vis-à-vis the Company Talent Pool Program and the Company Training and Competency Development Policies- Provides input to Division’s objectives for HR Services delivery. Interprets HR policies and procedures, and keeps informed of HR developments and legislative requirements both internally and externally- Effectively engage and articulate business needs to the HR Service Centre to ensure the delivery of employee solution in line with business needs- Work hand in hand with HR Specialist for planning and implementation of new deliveries of the HR initiatives- Plant and facilitate job evaluation exercise involving positions in the Division they support, with HR Specialist function- Advice and interpret employment legislation (as applicable) and ensure that line management comply with legislation applicable to employees who fall within the scope of such legislation- Attend to employee grievances and disputes which remain unresolved at Divisional level and where necessary, handle such disputes at a higher level- Propose new HR plans and/initiatives as part of improvement program for companywide, as and when requested by the Head of HR

- Degree holder with 8 years working experience in HR- Problem solving skills analytical, probing, approach to identify, assess & resolve employee / employer issues or disputes- Proficient in English, both verbal and writing- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills- Report Writing Skills
