**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the QA team, including task assignment, workload management, and performance evaluation
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing processes
- Lead the planning and execution of test plans, testing strategies, and testing efforts to meet project requirements and deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to QA team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Report on quality metrics, testing progress, and overall test results to project stakeholders

**What We Are Looking For**

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next - people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in software quality assurance and testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in the financial industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and practices
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear expectations, and drive results
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach to QA processes and challenges
