**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Sample Handling: Receive, label, and log samples accurately and efficiently.
- Data Entry: Enter sample information into computer databases with precision and attention to detail.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies, reagents, and other materials necessary for laboratory operations.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
- Assistance with Testing: Provide support to laboratory technicians and scientists by preparing materials, setting up equipment, and performing basic tests or experiments as needed.
- Quality Control: Follow established procedures for quality control and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and etc to maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with laboratory staff, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate workflow and ensure efficient operations.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not always required. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment is beneficial.
- Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt to changes in workflow or technology.
