Nursing Tutor, Cssc

The essential function of this position is to support the daily operations of the Clinical Skills & Simulation Centre (CSSC), including teaching, assessing, preparation of classes and exams, managing inventory, simulated patients, events and research according to IMU’s policies and goals.

1. To develop teaching materials according to teaching requirements.

2. To deliver teaching to students according to the curriculum;
3. To assess students' coursework and assignments;
4. To assess students in formative (Direct Observation of Procedural Skills - DOPS) and summative examinations (Objective Structured Clinical examination - OSCE);
5. To support students through an advisory role;
6. To undertake research projects and actively contribute to the institution’s research profile;
7. To undertake continuous professional development (CPD) courses and participate in staff training activities;
8. To organise and manage the running of simulation sessions;
9. To plan and participate in income-generating activities for the department and IMU;
10. To ensure the department is compliant with the CSSC Standard Operating Procedures and IMU Guidelines;
11. To assist in digitalising CSSC processes and preparing/managing digital content for teaching and learning;
12. To ensure models and equipment are ready for teaching sessions and OSCEs;
13. To prepare the CSSC venue and assist in the smooth running of teaching sessions and OSCEs;
14. To manage students’ self-directed learning room, including guidance when the need arises;
15. To perform other duties as and when directed by Director / Assistant. Director of CSSC;
**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Masters is preferred)
- Any post-basic certification or advanced diploma certification in Nursing is required
- Minimum 5 working year experience
- Work shift duty during extended evening teaching hours from Monday to Friday.
- Work during the weekend when the need arises for Open Days, Convocations, seminars, training and workshops.

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
