EHS Specialist

Uphold the Company’s Quality Policy, Values and Beliefs
- Develop, Implement and maintain EHS management system policy, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure associates follow and comply with EHS management system policy, procedures, work instructions as well as regulations.
- Responsible for site environment management including but not limited to dangerous chemicals, emissions and solid waste management.
- Arrange and conduct EHS regular audits and track (safety audits or other related audits)
- Cooperate with local authorities and authorized 3rd party company audit and finish the tasks timely.
- Understand the updating of EHS laws and regulations
- Work with other Managers to be responsible for site safety management to meet national/local regulations and Company’s internal standards, including risk assessment, contractor & supplier management, work permit, forklift standard, machinery safety and accident investigation, analysis and tracking etc.
- Responsible for establishing & maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems in the JBM plant.
- Compile weekly production plan. Daily update and adjust the daily production plan per inventory, shipping plan, material shortage and capacity & Maintain minimum stock levels to prevent product stock outs (Backup role)
- Other tasks arranged by Company based on business development

**Requirement**
- University degree in chemistry, Engineering, EHS or other related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in chemical/manufacturing industry
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the EHS specialisation
- ISO14001, and ISO 45001, machine safety knowledge and experience is preferred.
- Experience/knowledge of wastewater treatment.
- Experience/knowledge in production planning is preferred.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Good communication ability to work effectively with other colleagues.
- Understand Malaysian regulations on environment, safety, firefighting and health.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Willing and active to learn

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
